Have you ever asked yourself how to dial an extention automatically on your iPhone? Well then if you are about wondering how to do that, you are in the right page now. Anyway, Apple is available for this feature into iOS even better. However, before you can dial, you need to wait for the answering service to pick up or to listen to some type of message.
Well then here are the simply instructions:
1. First you need to open the address book of your iPhone and then click Edit on the contact you’d like to add an extension to.
2. Secondly you need to tap the phone number you’d like to edit, then the dial pad will pop up as shown in the pic below.
3. After that, tap the +*# key after entering the regular phone number
4. Then tap Pause. you’ll see a comma is inserted after the number. Just to let you know, you should note that if you’d like the iPhone to wait a bit longer before dialing the extension then you can insert more than one pause.
5. The last, You have to type in the extension number and then tap on done button.
Finished! then now you can automatically dial an extension on iPhone. Enjoy!.
